What Constitutes an Emergency?

If your safety or security is compromised, it's an emergency. We prioritize these common critical issues:

Car Trapped Inside

You need to get to work or pick up the kids. We treat this as our highest priority call.

Door Won't Close

Leaving your door open exposes your home to theft and weather. Secure your home tonight.

Door Off Track

A door hanging crooked is dangerous and can fall. Do not touch it—call a pro immediately.

Snapped Spring

The loud bang means a spring broke. The door is now dead weight and cannot be lifted safely.

What Happens When You Call?

While You Wait: Safety Instructions

DO NOT CUT CABLES

If your door is stuck halfway, you might be tempted to cut the cables to lower it. NEVER DO THIS.

The kinetic energy stored in the door weight can be deadly if released instantly. The door will crash down with enough force to crush anything underneath it.

1. Clear the Area

Keep children, pets, and cars away from the door area, especially if it is hanging crooked.

2. Check the Sensors

If the door just won't close but looks fine physically, check if the safety sensors (little cameras at the bottom) are blocked or misaligned. Fixing this yourself can save you a service fee!

3. Do Not Force the Opener

If you press the button and hear a humming noise but no movement, stop immediately. Repeatedly pressing the button will burn out the opener's motor and plastic gears.

Emergency Repair FAQ

How much does emergency garage door repair cost?

We believe in fair pricing. While there is a standard service call fee, we do NOT charge exorbitant 'after-hours' premiums like our competitors. We will provide a clear quote before starting any work.

Can I open my garage door manually if the spring is broken?

NO. This is very dangerous. A garage door can weigh 300+ lbs. Without the spring to counterbalance it, it is dead weight. Trying to lift it can cause back injury or the door to come crashing down.

Do you repair garage doors on Sundays?

Yes, we have technicians on call every Saturday and Sunday, as well as holidays. Garage doors don't break on a schedule, so neither do we.
